Mike Finley has been a principal in The Cypress Group since its formation in April 1994. Following graduation from business school, he joined Lehman Brothers as an associate working on financings and strategic assignments, becoming part of the merchant-banking group a year later. Over the course of his career, Mr. Finley has worked on private-equity transactions and related financings in a wide range of industries. He currently concentrates on the automotive and aerospace/defense industries. Mr. Finley holds a BA from St. Thomas University and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
